All heat sources should be controlled with thermostats. Radiant heat panels or ceramic heat emitters are preferred.

• Aspen bedding — low-dust, good burrowing
• Cypress mulch — helps maintain humidity

• Pine or cedar (toxic oils)
• Sand or gravel (impaction risk)

• During Shed: Up to 65–70% to help with complete sheds
• If your animal is not having any shedding issues your humidity is high enough
