Our Story
319 Reptiles is a family owned and operated reptile business based out of Cedar
Rapids, Iowa and specializes in captive bred ball pythons.
Chris Ferenzi has kept reptiles as pets for over 30 years and believes in treating
these amazing animals with the same care and compassion as other, more
traditional, furry pets. Chris, along with his wife and 5 children, decided to turn
this life-long hobby into a business. The current focus of 319 Reptiles is to breed
and care for ball pythons to create ideal family pets and companions.
Ball pythons at 319 Reptiles are raised in a comfortable, caring environment, and
exposed to frequent human interaction. A variety of colors and patterns are
available including clown, sunset, lavender, and piebald. 319 Reptiles strives to
train the majority of these snakes to accept frozen-thawed prey as a humane and
safe feeding option. All 319 Reptiles ball pythons are accompanied by a hatch
certificate which includes the genetics, parental information, sex, hatch date, and
information about the clutch. Flat-rate shipping is offered within in the United
States.
The Ferenzi family currently keeps bearded dragons, geckos, ball pythons, angolan pythons, milk
snakes, corn snakes, and African house snakes as pets. A dog and three cats
are also part of this active household and add the joy of caring for a variety of
animals. These pets, as well as tips, footage, and commentaries, are all featured
